Description The difference between the X96 range will be mostly down to the main Chip Set on the box, the RAM, and the Memory. the X96 Max Plus range uses the Amlogic S905X3 Chip Set and runs on the Android 9 platform, the X96 Max Plus Ultra range uses the Amlogic S905X4 Chip Set and runs on the Android 11 platform. For RAM and Memory, each model is slightly different, the box can vary from 2GB + 16GB to 4GB + 64GB, so let's compare that with a Firestick, most Firesticks come with 2GB + 8GB but what people do not take into account with a Firestick is of the 8GB of memory, 4GB of this is taken up with Amazon bloatware so really a Firestick is only 2GB + 4GB, not a lot of memory in the streaming world.
